Yarn; Scheepjes, Colour crafter Velvet
5 skeins Kelly
1 skein each; Astaire, Monroe, Taylor, Bogart, Hepburn, Rogers and Dean
Crochet hook; 4 mm / G
Size after blocking approx; 42" - 68"
Used stitches;
Start making the middle flowers. Later you connect them all.
Make of;
1. Astaire 27 flowers
2. Monroe 32 flowers
3. Taylor 32 flowers
4. Bogart 30 flowers
5. Hepburn 28 flowers
6. Rogers 30 flowers
7. Dean 36 flowers
Ch6, make slst in first ch
Row 1; ch1, sc12, slst in first sc
Row 2; ch1, sc1 in first sc, [ch3, skip 1sc, sc in next sc] 5 times, ch3, skip 1sc, slst in first sc
Row 3; slst on ch3-space, ch3, dc5tog, [ch3, tc on sc, ch3, dc5tog on ch3-space] 5 times, ch3, tc on sc, ch3, slst on dc5tog
Row 4; [slst, ch1, sc4] on ch3-space, [ch3, sc4 on next ch3-space, ch2, sc4 on next ch3-space] 5 times, ch3, sc4 on next ch3-space, ch2, slst in first sc
Row 3; slst on ch3-space, ch3, dc5tog, [ch3, tc on sc, ch3, dc5tog on ch3-space] 5 times, ch3, tc on sc, ch3, slst on dc5tog
Row 4; [slst, ch1, sc4] on ch3-space, [ch3, sc4 on next ch3-space, ch2, sc4 on next ch3-space] 5 times, ch3, sc4 on next ch3-space, ch2, slst in first sc

Weave in all the ends. Then you can start connecting them all.
Start with a flower in the color Astaire and add a 5th row with the color Kelly, by;
Cast on thread on a 2ch-space above the dc5tog.
Row 5; ch3, dc2 on ch2-space, * [dc3, ch2, dc3] on next ch3-space, dc3 on next ch2-space*, repeat from * to * 4 more times, [dc3, ch2, dc3] on next ch3-space, slst in third of ch3
Chart 2
Then take 6 flowers in the color Monroe. Crochet Row 5, but now you connect them around the Astaire flower (see image 1 and chart 3), by
Row 5; cast on thread and ch3, dc2 on ch2-space, [dc3, ch1, slst in flower 1, ch1, dc3] on next ch3-space, [dc2, slst in flower 1, dc1] on next ch2-space, [dc3, ch1, slst in flower 1, ch1, dc3] on next ch3-space, *dc3, on next ch2-space, [dc3, ch2, dc3] on next ch3-space*, repeat from * to * 3 more times, slst in third of ch3
Flower 3 is connected by 3 sides

Keep adding the flowers like shown in chart 4

Weave in all the ends, if you haven't done so after each added row. Block the blanket and then it is ready to use. I hope you enjoyed making it.
